VENTURE BUILDING / CYBERIUS

Capital is
the easy part.

Cyberius starts and co-builds technology companies in industrial markets: energy, automation, and defence. We put in capital, operators, and the network that gets a first customer signed. Then we stay.

WHY WE EXIST

Most technology gets funded.
Very little of it gets built.

The gap is not money. It is the eighteen months between a working idea and a company that can invoice: hiring the first operator, passing the first certification, and surviving the first supplier who misses a deadline.

We arrive before. We take an equity position, put people inside the company, and carry it through the part that does not scale.

HOW A CYBERIUS COMPANY GETS BUILT

01

Thesis

WHAT HAPPENS

We choose a market we understand and identify the specific thing that is broken.

GATE TO NEXT STAGE

A named customer confirms the problem is real and worth paying to fix.

02

Formation

WHAT HAPPENS

The company is incorporated, capitalised, and staffed. Founders lead; we take a minority position.

GATE TO NEXT STAGE

A working product or service exists and one contract is signed.

03

Build

WHAT HAPPENS

Certification, supply chain, first operators, and the failures that teach the company how to work.

GATE TO NEXT STAGE

The company covers its own operating costs.

04

Scale

WHAT HAPPENS

The company outgrows us. That is the point.

GATE TO NEXT STAGE

An external round, strategic sale, or independence.

WHAT WE PUT IN

01 / CAPITAL

Early, patient capital.

Our own, at formation, when the round is too early and too small for a fund to care.

02 / OPERATORS

People inside the company.

Someone from Cyberius does the work. Not a board seat. Not a monthly call.

03 / INDUSTRIAL NETWORK

Access to the first real customer.

Suppliers, integrators, certification bodies, and the people who decide whether the product gets used.

04 / DISTANCE

Founders run the company.

We take a minority position and say when we think you are wrong.

MARKETS WE UNDERSTAND

Physical systems.
Real constraints.

  • 01Energy storage and grid infrastructure
  • 02Industrial automation
  • 03Defence and dual-use technology

We do not invest in markets we have not worked in. If your company is not in one of these, we are the wrong partner, and we will tell you quickly.

WHAT WE DON'T DO

Clarity is part
of the offer.

  • We do not write cheques and disappear.
  • We do not take majority control of companies we did not start.
  • We do not invest in software with no physical product attached.
  • We do not do consulting. If we are working on your company, we own part of it.
